Carmen is a dedicated and passionate registered physiotherapist who graduated from D’Youville College with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2015. She works with a variety of patients and conditions with a special focus on pelvic floor and women’s health as well as paediatric care.
Carmen is fully certified in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy, having completed all 3 levels of Pelvic Floor Certification. She has also completed several courses in infant development, paediatric pelvic floor, pre-natal and post-natal focused courses, c-section rehabilitation and Level 1 of breastfeeding management.
She founded CALM Health Physiotherapy to shine a light on the often-overlooked areas of women’s and children’s wellness. Her journey began when she realized just how scarce, reliable resources were for women and their babies. As she navigated the challenges of being a woman, the perinatal journey, motherhood, multiple losses and caring for her own children, Carmen has experienced firsthand, how isolating it can feel without the right guidance.
